Terminology

For the purposes of this agreement (the 'Agreement'), the Platform is referred to as 'we', 'us', or 'our'. Users and other visitors to the Platform are referred to as 'you', 'your', or 'User'. Together, 'we' and 'you' are the 'Parties' and individually a 'Party'.

Personal Data Processing and Retention Period

We will process and retain your personal data for as long as required by law, or for the period agreed when we collected it from you.

As a rule, we retain your personal data for 18 months after you delete your account or if it is deactivated for misuse. This period allows for any reviews by financial institutions or investigations by authorities. If no such reviews or investigations occur, we will permanently delete your data once this period ends.

If any outstanding debts or credits arise from your use of our services, we will retain your information until the balance is settled.

Invocation

Any reference in this Agreement to codes, statutory decrees, or administrative regulations shall be deemed to refer to the most recently amended version, whether the amendment occurred before or after this Agreement was signed.

The headings in this Agreement are provided solely for convenience and must not be used to interpret its terms and conditions. Any reference to statements, terms, conditions, annexes, or schedules refers exclusively to those contained in this Agreement.

The term 'include' in this Agreement shall always mean 'include, but not be limited to,' unless otherwise specified.

Information Collected

Users acknowledge that the Platform may use cookies to monitor their activity on the Platform and to collect various data, such as IP addresses, geolocation information, and other relevant details. For example, we may use video (including audio) recordings to verify the identity of P2P merchants and to serve as evidence in P2P order disputes. In addition, facial video (including audio) may be used for Regalis Finthor identity verification on third-party platforms..

Limitation of Liability

Although the Platform implements technical and organisational safeguards to protect your information, we cannot guarantee that data transmitted over the internet is entirely secure. Accordingly, we do not provide any guarantees regarding the security of the personal information you provide, and we cannot be held liable for any loss or damage resulting from unauthorised access to your personal data.

Amendments to this Agreement

We reserve the right to revise this Agreement at any time. If we update the Privacy Policy, we will notify you by posting the changes, including the new effective date and a summary of the changes. In some instances, we may also send you a direct notification. Please review the Privacy Policy periodically. By continuing to use the Platform after the changes take effect, you acknowledge and agree to the updated terms.
